Invitation to Bid for the Construction of New Modern Market at Ogunpa on Public Private Partnership Arrangement

A. Introduction:
1. It is a strong desire of the present administration in Ibadan North West Local Government to ensure that trading and other economic activities at Ogunpa Oyo Market are carried out in a conducive, secure and environmentally friendly atmosphere. This desire is actually in tandem with the Ajimobi led administration’s transformation, restoration and reformation agenda.

2. In furtherance to this laudable desire and in compliance with Due Process requirement, applications are hereby invited from suitable, competent and qualified contractors with good pedigree to bid, on public-private partnership arrangement, for the following projects:
  • Type A Lock Up Shops
  • Type B Lock Up Shops
  • Type C Open Market Stalls

B. Bid Requirement

Interested and competent contractors are expected to provide the following documents:
  • Evidence of Incorporation by the Corporate Affairs Commission
  • Evidence of registration with Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement
  • Evidence of payment of Companies Income Tax Clearance in the last three (3) years.
  • Experience of similar projects executed in the last five (5) years i.e. Letters of Award and Certificate of Completion
  • Proof of financial capability and banking support
  • Evidence of payment of non-refundable fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25,000.00) only, payable to the office of the Director of Estate and Valuation

C. Other Relevant Information
  • Arrangement is on public-private partnership basis and at a reasonably competitive price.
  • Submission of bid documents should not exceed seven (7) working days from the date of this publication
  • Project expected to be completed within four to five (4 - 5) months
  • The Local Government authority reserves the right to take final decision on any document received and no further correspondence will be entertained thereupon.
  • Details, scope and other relevant information about the project are available at the office of the Director of Estate and Valuation, Ibadan North West Local Government, Onireke - Dugbe, Ibadan,

D. Collection of Bid Document
Pre-qualification and tender documents should be collected from the office of the Director of Estate and Valuation, Ibadan North West Local Government.

E. Closing Date/Submission of Bid Documents
The tender documents, with accompany i hg relevant documents, which must be signed and duly sealed, should be submitted to the office of the Caretaker Chairman, Ibadan North West Local Government, Onireke-Dugbe, Ibadan in sealed wax envelopes and marked on top left corner “Tender Contract Award” on or before 15th February, 2013.
