1.) The Jos Electricity Distribution Company wishes to bring to the notice of interested, competent and reputable Contractors/Suppliers that the JEDC would carry out procurement of the under-listed goods and services to be funded from IGR and other sources for the fiscal year 2013.

• Supply of Cash Receipting Machines
• Supply of Stationery
• Supply of Furniture
• Supply of Vehicles
• Line/Trace Clearance on 33KVand 11KV networks
• Construction of 33KV & 11KV Lines
• Supply of Poles
• Supply of Overhead Line Materials
• Supply of Aluminium Conductors
• Supply of Underground Cables
• Supply of Cash Receipting Machines
• Refurbishment of Vehicles and Transformers
• Supply of Office equipment (Computers, Printers etc.)
• Boreholes Works
• Renovation of Offices and Substation buildings
• Training/ Consultancy services
• Supply of Security equipment and Uniforms.
• Supply of Safety Materials
• Supply of Termination Kits
• Supply of Computers and Accessories
• Supply of Billing Materials
• Panel Meters and LV MD Meters
• Supply of Vending Machines for PPM Meters,
• Supply of PPM Meters, Meter Installation Equipment, and Meters Installation Works.
• Upgrading of Billing Infrastructure (Services, Works-station and Printer)
• Installation of Statistical Automated Meters
• Electronic Payment and Token and Vending System (EVPS)
• Supply of Distribution Transformer of various sizes

2.) Requirements

• Certificate of Incorporation! Business Registration
• Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
• Value Added Tax Registration Certificate
• Verifiable evidence of previous experience in area of interest.

3.) Closing Date/Submission of Document
All Contractors! Suppliers are expected to submit relevant documents in a sealed envelope marked GPN. Closing date is 19th February 2013 by 10.00am and should be submitted by hand or registered mail addressed to:

4.) Note

• This Notice is not an invitation to bid
• Only the Contractors / Suppliers adjudged technically responsive will be considered for competitive tender
• The adjudged technically responsive Contractors/Suppliers shall be invited to purchase Bid Document at a stipulated amount.
• JEDC will not enter into any correspondence with any unsuccessful bidders.
• Interested Suppliers / Contractors are advised to visit the JEDC’s Notice Board regularly for specific procurement Notices for minor value procurement as the need arises, while specific Procurement Notices will be placed in the Media for major procurement.
