Kano State Urban Planning & Development Authority - Invitation for Prequalification/Bid for the Construction of Roads and Facilities

Pursuant to the desire of the Present Administration to provide infrastructural facilities in the nooks and crannies of Kano State, which is now extended to the provision of new markets and redevelopment of existing ones; the Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority {KNUPDA}, on behalf of the Ministry of Land and Physical Planning, intends to prequalify Contractors for the Construction of roads and facilities at the following Markets:-

Contract No.     Description
Lot 1:     Construction of roads and facilities at New ‘Yankaba Market, Tokarawa, along Hadejia Road.
Lot 2:     Construction of roads and facilities at New ‘Yan Lemo Market, Fan Village, along Zaria Road.
Lot 3:     Construction of roads and facilities at New Unguwa Uku Market, along Zaria Road; and
Lot 4:     Construction of roads and gates at Kofar Wambai Market.

Collection of Tender Documents:
Eligible Contractors may apply for the Contract within two weeks from date of this Publication and obtain Prequalification/Tender Documents from the Director, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, at a non-refundable fee of N100,000:00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira).

Requirements:
Interested applicants must have among other things carried out similar works in similar circumstances.

Closing Date/Submission:
The Prequalification documents should be submitted in sealed envelope not later than 1st March, 2013 and may be delivered either by hand or registered Mail to:-
