Invitation to Tender for the Dredging

1.) Interested contractors are invited to bid for the dredging of nine (9) rivers in Ibadan. The rivers are:

• Farayola Stream, Bodija, Ibadan. (Lot 1)
• Cele Stream, Apata, Ibadan. (Lot 2)
• A1aro Stream, Elebu, Oluyole, Ibadan. (Lot 3)
• Ikolaba Stream, Ikolaba, Ibadan. (Lot 4)
• Akako Stream, Odo-Ona, Thadan (Lot 5)
• Elesun Stream Ring Road, Ibadan, (Lot 6)
• Ayedaade Stream, Olunloyo, Ibadan. (Lot 7)
• Temidire-Beyerunka Stream, Ibadan. (Lot 8)
• Orogun Tributory, Orogun, Ibadan (Lot 9)

2.) Condition for Eligibility

• Bidders are to obtain application forms after the payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (N25,000.00) for Lot I and 2, Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) for Lot 3 and One Hundred Thousand (N 100,000.00) for Lots 4 to 9 at Room 10, Ministry of Environment and Habitat, Secretariat, Ibadan between Thursday 21st and Thursday 28th February, 2013.
• Completed bids are to be returned with the following documents:
  • Registration of Company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
  • Evidence of Registration of Business Premises with the Ministry of Trade and Investment, Oyo State;
  • Evidence of Registration with the Bureau of Public procurement of Oyo State;
  • Photocopies of Company’s Financial details for the past three years;
  • Tax Clearance of two Directors of the Company for three years consecutively;
  • Evidence of Ownership of at least one dredging equipment of 10-30 metric tone capacity;

3.) Closing Date/Submission
All valid application containing the above listed requirements enclosed in 12” x 16” envelopes addressed to the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Habitat, Secretariat, Ibadan with the Lot bidded for at the far left corner of the envelope should be submitted by 4.00p.m. on or before 14th March, 2013.

4.) Opening of Bids
Bids will be opened in the presence of all applicants by the Cabinet Office of the Executive Governor at 2.00 p.m. on Friday 15th March, 2013.
