Invitation for the Pre-Qualification for the Construction of Nigeria Bar Associations National Secretariat at Central Business District, Abuja FCT

The Nigerian Bar Association hereby invites reputable and suitably qualified contractors for the construction of its ten (10) storey National Secretariat, Abuja.

Eligibility for Pre-Qualification

All companies applying for Pre-qualification shall submit the following documents and evidence of capabilities. These shall include:
  • Certificate of Incorporation.
  • Three (3) years Tax Clearance Certificate.
  • Three (3) years Company Audited Report.
  • Evidence of Financial capability and Bank support.
  • Evidence of VAT Registration.
  • Evidence of compliance with PENCOM.
  • Evidence of compliance with ITF.
  • Company profile and evidence of verifiable relevant experience in executing similar projects.
  • Evidence of competence showing what the Company had done in terms of handling a similar or related project from the beginning to the end within the designated time.
  • The Company must have capacity to provide a Bond either from a reputable Bank or a first class Insurance Company.
  • Evidence of capacity in terms of qualified Personnel and Ownership of Equipments necessary for the construction of the building of similar nature.

Submission of Documentation

All completed Pre-qualification proposals of six (6) copies are to be addressed to:

Garki II, Abuja, F.C.T.

and deposited in the Tender Box at the Office of the Executive Director, Nigerian Bar Association, upon the payment of a Certified Bank Draft of N50, 000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) as Processing fees made in favour of the Nigerian Bar Association

11th March, 2013

Opening of Bids
The submitted Tender will be opened on the 12th day of March, 2013 in the Conference Room of the Nigerian Bar Association at the above address. Interested Bidders or their Representatives are invited.

  • The Nigerian Bar Association is not bound to shortlist any Bidder and reserves the right to reject any or all documents.
  • Only Shortlisted Contractors will be contacted to Tender for the project.
  • The Processing fee is non-refundable.
