Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors to Tender for Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) Conditional Grant Scheme 2011 to LGAs

The Taraba State Government is fully committed to the improvement of service delivery towards achieving the Millenmum Development Goals (MDGs) by the target year 2015 hence the collaboration between Sardauna, Gassol, Yorro, and Ibi LGAS, Taraba State Government and Federal Government to execute special projects under 2012 CGS to LGAs in Health, Education and Water & Sanitation.

Nature of the Programmes Projects Involved
1.) Health

• Renovation and Construction of Basic Health Clinics and Dispensaries
• Procurement of assorted Hospital Equipment arid furniture
• Procurement of essential drugs

2.) Water & Sanitation

• Constriction of Hand pump boreholes in Health facilities arid schools
• Construction of VIP Toilets in Health facilities and Schools

3.) Education

• Renovation and Construction of Classrooms
• Procurement of school furniture
• Procurement of Instructional materials and Teaching aids

Pre-Qualification Requirements

• Evidence of incorporation or business name registration.
• Evidence of registration as Contractor with Taraba State Government.
• Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years
• Company Audited Account for the past three (3) years
• Company Profile detailing years of experience and projects executed in the areas of interest
• Evidence of Financial Capability and Bank Support
• Proof of joint ventures/alliances/partnerships (if applicable).
• Valued Added Tax (VAT Certificate and evidence of past VAT remittances.
