Release Of List Of Pre-qualified Contractors And Invitation To Opening Of Financial Bids For The Execution Of 2012 Capital/ Recurrent projects

Further to the Ministry’s published Adverts in the Thisday Vanguard Newspapers and the Federal Tenders Journals in February and May, 2012; the subsequent receipt and conclusion of evaluation of Technical bids for participation in the procurement of goods, works and services in the 2012 Appropriation for 2012 MDG Projects, the Ministry is pleased to release the list of prequalified companies for the 2012 MDG projects as posted on the Notice Boards of the Ministry’s Headquarters at Mabushi, Abuja from Tuesday 14th to Wednesday 22nd August, 2012.

2.) Opening Of Bids:

The Ministry invites all prequalified companies, or their representatives, interested members of the public and relevant NGOs to witness the public opening of their financial bids for participation in the procurement of the 2012 MDG capital projects on Wednesday 22nd August, 2012 at 2pm in the Conference Hall of the Ministry’s Headquarters Building, at Mabushi, Abuja.

This advertisement that is published in the VANGUARD Newspapers of Tuesday 14th August, 2012 and in THISDAY Newspapers of Wednesday 15th August, 2012 shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the Federal Ministry of Lands, Housing & Urban Development; nor shall it entitle potential companies to make any claims whatsoever or seek any indemnity from the Ministry by virtue of such company having responded to the advertisement;

Not withstanding a company’s pre-qualification, the Ministry is neither committed nor obligated to award any form of contract to a company or agent;

In order to save precious time for other serious official engagements, the Ministry will not process requests for payment of 15% Mobilisation Fee for projects valued below N100,000,000.00(One hundred million Naira) only;

The final conclusion of the procurement process for all on-going and new 2012 MDG capital projects is subject to adequatefunds releases/ cash-backing for the projects in the 2012 Appropriation and the evolving priority projects/programmes in the “Housing Revolution” under the Transformation Agenda of the Federal Government.
