Invitation to Tender.

Pursuant to the Enugu State Government Commitment to ensuring free flow of traffic on our urban roads, security to life and, property, the State Ministry of Transport therefore invites SEALED BIDS from eligible and qualified bidders to TENDER for the following lots:

Lot I: Designing, building, supplying and installation of light emitting diode Light and powerpack backup/solar.
Lot 2: Supplying of heavy duty crane (20 tonnes.), big towing truck and medium Towing truck.
Lot 3: Cost estimates for designing and installation of all types of road markings per linear metre where applicable, with the estimates specifying various types of paints such as thermoplastic and cold paints. etc.

All bids must be accompanied by
(i) Evidence of current registration with Enugu State
(ii) Evidence of registration with Coporate Affairs Commission
(iii) Audited financial Statements for the last three years
(iv) Tax Clearance Certificates for the immediate past three years
(v) Evidence of similar jobs successfully executed.
(vi) Evidence of technical and financial strength to execute the project
(vii) Evidence of VAT registration and remittance
(viii) Evidence of bid security of the bidded sum.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Director, Mass Transit, Ministry ofTransport, Enugu. A complete set of bidding document maybe purchased by bidders from the Department of Planning Research and Statistics on payment of a non-refundable fee of N50, 000 (FifIy thousand naira) only. The method of payment will be a certificate bank cheque from a Nigeria Bank in favour of Ministry of Transport Enugu at a date not later than 26th September, 2012.

Closing Date
All submissions shall be in sealed envelopes clearly marked on the top left hand corner “TENDER FOR LOT NO X” and addressed to the Director Planning, Research and Statistics Department, Ministry of Transport, to reach him not later than 26th September, 2012.
