Invitation to Tender for Reputable Contractors in Ovia South West Local Government Edo State, Nigeria

Tenders are hereby invited from reputable contractors currently registered with the Local Government for the execution of the under listed projects on behalf of the Local Government.

These projects are to be executed from the funds from the sure-P and excess Crude:

Construction of a new ultra modern secretariat building at Iguobazuwa
Construction of ultra modern market at Iguobazuwa
Construction/Renovation of open market stores at Ugbogai
Construction of open market stores at Nikorogha
Renovation of 6-classroom at Adolor Primary School, Umaza

The Tenders are to be accompanied with the following:

Evidence of current business registration with Ovia
South West Local Government as a contractor in the appropriate category.
Tax clearance certificate for the immediate past three years
Current bank guarantee of credit worthiness
Evidence of job previously executed with the Local Government or other agencies.
Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
Evidence of personal income tax clearance certificate of one of the Directors of the company
Evidence of the payment of N1O, 000, 00 (Ten Thousand Naira) non-refundable deposits
Documents showing the drawing and specifications of the above listed projects are available for inspection between the hours of 8.OOam to 4.OOpm in the office of the Director of Works, Land and Survey.
Tenders should be addressed and submitted in a sealed envelope and marked ‘Confidential and The Contract Code” at the top Left hand corner of the envelope and addressed to: The Executive Chairman, Ovia South West Local Government area, Iguabazuwa- Edo State.
Ovia south west local government is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender, nor is it bound to give reasons for rejection of any tender.
