In compliance with the requirement of the public Procurement Act2007 and Extant Regulation of Government on procurement of goods and services by Federal Government Ministries and Parastatals the Federal Ministry of Education wishes to invite for - suitably qualified companies to bid for a project at Federal Government College. Port Harcourt in the area specified below.

Precurement of Work: N0/FGC/PH/WKS/01/2013

Description of Items: Construction of 1 no Girls Hostel
Quantity: 1
Bill Security: At least 2.5% of total cost or bank Guarantee
bill Validity: 60days
Delivery Date: 180days
Location: FGC/PH


Qualification to Tender:
Interested contractor should submit the following qualification/information/document along with their proposal:

• Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission including Memorandum Articles of Association
• Form C02 and COT where applicable.
• Tax Certificate for the last three years to be valid up to 31th December, 2012
• Evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of N20, 000.00 Bank Draft, in favour of the principal, Federal Government College, Port Harcourt
• Tender/Bid Security (2.5% of the contract cost)or bank Guarantee.
• Any additional information that may enhance the chances of the company, example Company profile, Application for Tender etc
• A sworn affidavit disclosing whether or not any officers of Federal Government College, Port Harcourt or Federal Ministry of Education or Bureau of Public interest in the bidders and confirm that all information presented in its bids are true and correct:
• Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) remittances

28th November, 2013.


Collection and Submission of Tender
Tender documents are to be collected from the Secretary, School Tenders Board (STB) upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of N20,000.00 only (Receipt from the Accounts/Bursary Unit. FGC Port Harcourt)
Completed Tender Documents should be submitted in two (2) envelopes duly marked original and copy and enclosed in a seated envelop marked “Tender for 2013 Capital Project”. The envelope should be addressed to the Principal, Federal Government College Port Harcourt and deposited in the Tender Box at the Secretary’s Office (VP Special Duty).


Opening of Tenders:
The Tender will be opened at 2:00noon on the 29th of November2013 at the College Conference Room

• Late submission Of Bid will be rejected.
• False claims and failure to comply with the instruction above or to provide any of the listed documents may automatically lead to disqualification.
