Invitation to Bid for Natural Resources and Rural Development


Oyo State Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development, invites reputable and qualified Contractors, Companies and Manufacturer’s Representatives to bid for the Construction of Silo in Oyo State.

Bid Requirements:

• Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
• Evidence of Registration with Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement
• Evidence of Registration of Business Premises with the Ministry of Commerce
• Company Profile with relevant information on key personnel.
• Evidence that Bidder is either an original Silo Manufacturer or is an accredited Representative of an original Silo Manufacturer,
• Bidders must also provide evidence of Manufacturer’s warranty and after-sales support/service
• Evidence of Payment of Personal Income Tax by at Least two (2) Directors over the last three (3) years
• Evidence of payment of Company Tax
• Evidence of such project undertaken in the past and the Completion Certificate

Closing date: 6th December, 2013
Time: 12:00noon


Tender Fee
Interested bidders are expected to pay a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Thousand Naira
(N500, 000.00) only in favour of Oyo State Government into Account No. 2012411197 First Bank Plc
(Code 4040024) and Agency Code 41400

Method of Application
Prospective bidders can obtain bidding documents from the Office of the Director, Agricultural Engineering Services, Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MANR&RD), as from Friday, 22nd November, 2013 between 8:00am to 4:00pm daily. Fully completed Bids should be submitted in a sealed and waxed envelope clearly marked “Construction of Silo” at the top left hand corner to the Cabinet Department of the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan.

Note that:

• Only shortlisted Contractors will be contacted and late applications shall not be considered.
• Government is not bound to accept the lowest bids.
• Received bids will be opened at 2:30pm on the 6th December, 2013 at the above address in the presence of bidders who choose to attend.
