The Federal University Otuoke, invites interested, competent and reputable Consultants and Contractors to make submissions for pre-qualification for the following projects to be designed, built/ renovated at the University in Ogbia Local Government Area Bayelsa State

Areas for Pre-Qualification - Consultancy Services;

• Lot 1 Design of University Sports Arena and Recreation Center
• Lot 2 Design of University Works/ Facilities Maintenance of Department Office and Workshop
• Lot3 Design for development of a Canal (Canal channelization) within the University property
• Lot 4 Design of a Master Plan for University’s Water, Sewage and Waste Water Management systems

Areas for pre-qualification — construction procurement services:

• Lot 5 Renovation / Completion of Faculty Buildings FB-2 and FB-3 (2 buildings)
• Lot 6 Renovation / Completion of Laboratory Building 2
• Lot 7 Renovation / Completion of Lecture Halls 1 and 2 (2 buildings)
• Lot 8 Construction of Access Roads, Driveways, Parking Bays and Landscaping
• Lot 9 Renovation / Completion of Admin Store 1
• Lot 10 Supply of books for the University Library
• Lot 11 Supply of Classroom Furniture
• Lot 12 Supply of Office Furniture
• Lot 13 Supply and installation of Laboratory Furniture, Chemicals and Equipments
• Lot 14 Provision of Water Supply Facilities
• Lot 15 Provision of External Electrification on academic campus
• Lot 16 Construction of New Fence on academic campus. Lot 17 Construction of Student’s Cafeteria/ Dining Hall

Pre-Qualification Requirements:

• Consultants and Contractors are expected to submit documents for pre-qualification (Technical bids) as enumerated below:
• Evidence of Registration with the Corporation Affairs Commission (CAC) by inclusion of Certificate of Incorporation and Article of Association
• Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years, and Tax Identification Number (TIN)
• Detailed Company profile with evidence of experience in at least five jobs of similar nature and complexity executed within the last five years
• Evidence of Financial Capability reference letter from a reputable bank
• Evidence of Registration with relevant Professional bodies
• Evidence of Registration with and proof of remittance to PENCOM if applicable
• VAT registration with evidence of remittance for projects completed
• Three years audited accounts in the category of job.
• A declaration or sworn affidavit indicating that all documents submitted are genuine and verifiable.
• Evidence of payment of training contributions to ITF (Industrial Training Fund) if Applicable.

Submission of application:
Technical Bids (Pre-qualification documents) should be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked as (Pre-Qualification for Consultancy or Construction/Procurement Services for University Projects, Federal University, Otuoke) as applicable.The envelope must be clearly marked with the Company name and name of project with lot number at the back. The documents are to be delivered by hand to the address indicated below:

Important Notice:

• Only short listed Consultants and Contractors will be invited to tender for the projects for which they have been pre-qualified.
• The University reserves the right to verify all pre-qualification documents submitted and carry out a post-qualification exercise, if deemed necessary.
• All costs incurred by any Company as a result of this pre-qualification and any subsequent request for information shall be at the expense of the Company.
• This advertisement shall not be considered as a commitment on the part of the University nor shall it entitle any Company to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the Federal University, Otuoke.
• All documents not securely sealed will be rejected
• The University reserves the right to reject any or all documents.
