Invitation to Tender for the Construction of Rural Community Development projects, Ekiti State

Government of Ekiti State, Nigeria is embarking on the construction of some rural community development projects make life meaning for the rural dwellers in the 16 LGAs of the state. Consequent upon this, interested and competent contractors are invited to bid the following rural development projects located in various communities across the State.

Project Description: Construction of 4km rural access road using Modular Scaleable Designed Method and the construction of 1 single cell ring culvert at lkogosi — Asa Oriokuta, llawe road in Ekiti West LG.A.

Lot 2
Project Description: Construction of 2 Double cell culverts at Kajola —Oko Asa road in Ekiti West LGA and Construction of 1 single cell ring culvert at Egheja/Ajindo in Ekiti West LGA

Project Description:  Construction of 1km and 3km rural access roads using Modular Scaleable Designed Method at National Health Centre Ilogho and lfaki - Orunghedo rural road respectively in Ido/Osi LGA The construction of 1 single cell ring culvert each at Bokoto - Araromi road and Usi - Iloro roads in Ido/Osi

Constructions of 10M span Bridge at NOVA-Olorunsogo Bridge in Ado LGA.

Tender Document:
The tender documents include un-priced Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME) to be obtained from the State Ministry of Rural Development and Community Empowerment located at the New Secretariat Complex, Phase .11, Ado-Ekiti on the payment of non-refundable fees as stated above payable to Head 404; sub-Head 84, revenue code 440000.

Pre-requisite for Tender:

• Interested and reputable contractors are to include the following documents with their bid(s);
• Certificate of the Company’s Registration (CAC) and technical capacity;
• Evidence of payment of non refundable Tender Fees;
• Evidence of payment of 3 years Development Levy (2011, 2012, 2013);
• Evidence of payment of 3 years Tax Clearance (2011, 2012. 2013)
• Evidence of registration with Bureau of Public Procurement;
• Evidence of registration of l3usiness premises with Ministry of Trade, Commerce and Investment;
• Evidence of registration with Ministry of Rural Development and Community Empowerment;
• Evidence of payment of development levy and tax of two company’s Directors;
• Evidence of previous work done/company profile etc;
• Evidence of financial capability and Bank support
• Evidence of Company’s functioning Office in Ekiti State;
• The profile of the Company indicating evidence of working experience and any information which may enhance the favourable consideration of tender

Closing date: 16th December, 2013

Submission of tenders:
The completed pre-qualification document must be forwarded in 3 sealed envelopes, one containing original copy and other two containing photocopies marked. on top left hand corner e.g. “Constructionof 4km rural access roads using Modular Scalable Designed Method and the Construction of 1 Single cell ring culvert at Ikogosi-Asa -Oriok.uta - Ilawe road in Ekiti West Local Government Area Lot 1"
The name of the company should not be indicated on the back of the envelope in anyway whatsoever.
All tenders should he submitted to the State Tender’s Board Secretariat, Cabinet and Special Services Department, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti not later than two weeks after this publication.
