Pursuant to Part II, Section 5 (k) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007, and following the transfer of the mobility of the officers in the Procurement Cadre of the Federal Civil Service to the Bureau of Public Procurement, the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HoS), in collaboration with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), announces a meeting with the Procurement Officers in the Federal Civil Service as follows:

Date: Wednesday, 11th December, 2013

Time: 3:00pm

Venue: New State House Auditorium, Presidential Villa, Asokoro, Abuja

Invitation To The Meeting Of Procurement Officers In The Federal Civil Service With The Office Of The Head Of Civil Service And Bureau Of Public Procurement


The objective of this meeting is to address the concerns arising from the recent policy changes and clarify issues resulting from these changes, vis-à-vis their implications for the career management of the affected officers within the cadre.
Accounting Officers of Federal Government procuring entities, i.e. Federal ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs), are required to kindly release these officers in their organizations to attend the meeting.
All Officers in the civil service who have passed the BPP examination for conversion but have not been converted to the Procurement Cadre are also expected to come for this meeting.
Each participant is advised to come along with his/her recent passport-size photograph.
