Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tendering For Year 2009 & 2010 Merged Intervention Projects, Osun State

The State of Osun Ministry of Education, Science & Technology on behalf of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Abuja and in compliance with the Due Process requirements on award of contracts hereby invites Companies and allied Corporate Agencies to forward their documents for purposes of pre-qualification and subsequent bidding (By Qualified Contractors only) for the construction of 900- student capacity model storey Buildings procurement of furniture/play materials and library development.

Year 2009 Normal Intervention Projects:

• Construction of a block of 3-classrooms Building with Staff Room [Lot 1-2]
• Procurement and supply of 250 Sets of2-Seater Pupils Desk & Benches [Lots 1-10]
• Procurement supply of 280 Sets of 2-Seater Pupils Desk & Benches [Lots 1-5]
• Procurement and supply of 240 Sets of 2-Seater Pupils Desk & Benches [Lots 1]
• Procurement and supply of 200 Sets of 2-Seater Pupils Desk & Benches [Lots 1-2]
• Procurement and supply of 200 Sets of Teachers Furniture
• (A set of 1 Executive Table, 1 Executive chair and 2 visitor tables) [Lots 1-2]
• Procurement and supply of 284 Sets of Teachers Furniture
• Set of 1 Executive Table, 1 Executive chair and2 visitor tables) [Lots 1]

Year 2010 Normal Intervention Projects

• Construction of a block of 3 classrooms building with Staff Room [Lots 1-4]
• Procurement and Supply of various Science Laboratory
• Equipments for some Designated High Schools [Lot 1]
• Procurement and supply of 250 Sets of students furniture Desk & Benches [Lots 1-55]
• Procurement and supply of 149 Sets of students furniture Desk & Benches [Lots 1]
• Procurement and supply of200 Sets of Teachers Furniture
• (A set of 1 Executive Table, 1 Executive chair and2 visitor tables) [Lots 1-9]
• Procurement and supply of210 Sets of Teachers Furniture
• (A set of 1 Executive Table, 1 Executive chair and2 visitor tables) [Lots 1]

Pre-Qualification Requirements

• Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
• Evidence of Registration with the State Ministry of Works & Transportation and Ministry of Commerce Industry and Co-operations
• Evidence of Registration with State Ministry of Education Science and Technology
• Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three [3] years
• Evidence of VAT Registration
• Articles and Memorandum of Association
• Evidence of previous job completion with certificates of performances
• Evidence of financial capability
• An audited Account of bidder for the last three [3] years
• List of technical personnel and their qualification

Closing date: 24th December, 2013

Tender Fee
Each would be shortlisted bidder will be contacted to collect tender documents at various non-refundable fee (to be based on project bidded for) to be paid to Accredited Bank, by the State Government’s Account.

Submission
Completed tender document must be returned in sealed envelope stating the contract and specific lot identification/number on the left hand side and addressed to:

Pre-qualification is valid for after vclosing date the date of this publication. The submission will be opened immediately after closing date which is from the date of publication of this advert at the State Ministry of Education & Technology in the presence of all bidders who choose to attend. Late submission of tender documents will not be entertained.

Note:

• Only the bids of those who fulfill the pre-qualification and tender criteria would be considered. State Ministry of Education, Science Technology is not duty bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
• State Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, reserves the right to reject any or all pre-qualification packages
• Full tendering procedures will be applied to tenders that are found prima facie qualified and capable of executing the listed projects.
