Edo State Government in its desire to improve access to health care services for citizens above 70 years of age has made adequate provisions for free medical treatment of this category of persons. To actualize this, the Ministry of Health is putting the necessary machineries in place to procure various consumables for the Free Medical Treatment of Senior Citizens aged 70 years and above in Edo State.

The State Government is also desirous to improve the quality of health care delivery to the people of the State through the provision of more equipment and refurbishment of old-the ones in the hospitals and the health training schools. This will enable the State to continuously satisfy the reaccreditation criteria set by the regulatory bodies.

Edo State Ministry of Health Benin City now invites sealed bids for the Procurement of Various Consumables for Free Medical Treatment for Senior Citizens aged 70 years and above in Edo State and for the Provision of Basic Health Equipment for the Hospitals and the Health Training Schools.
