The Gombe State Government in collaboration with the Federal Government is to Execute Projects/Programs towards attaining the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) through the 2013 Conditional Grants Scheme (CGS) to LGAs.

Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for the Implementation of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 2013 Conditional Grants Scheme (CGS) to LGAs Projects

The State Implementation Committee on Conditional Grants Schemes (CGS) projects on behalf of Gombe State Government wish to invite interested and qualified contractors to submit their Applications for Pre-Qualification for the execution of Projects/Programs under the 2013 Conditional Grants Scheme (CGS) to LGAs.

Project Areas
Primary Health Care:

• Construction/Renovation of Health Care Centers,
• Supply of Essential Medical Equipments/Drugs,
• Supply of Ambulances/Tricycles

Water and Sanitation

• Hand Pump Boreholes,
• Construction of VIP Toilets

Education

• Construction/Renovation of Blocks of Classrooms,
• Supply of Text Books and Educational/Instructional Materials

Registration Requirements

• Evidence of Incorporation of Company with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC),
• Evidence of registration with Gombe State Government as Contractor,
• Company Profile, list and qualification of key staff,
• Tax Clearance Certificate for the last 3 years,
• Evidence of Company Audited Accounts for the last 3 years
• Vat registration,
• Financial capability to execute the envisaged project,
• List of available plants, equipment and location
• Evidence of handling similar project (Experience)

Closing date: 3rd January, 2014

Pre-Qualification will be in accordance with the procedures being set out in the Due Process guidelines in Gombe State.
Applications should be submitted in sealed envelopes marked”Pre-Qualification for MDGs Projects/Programmes” and addressed to:

• Only Pre-Qualified companies will be invited to tender.
• This advertisement is not an invitation to Bid and should not be treated as such.
• It should neither be confused as a commitment on the part of Gombe State Government nor shall it entitle companies to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the State Government.
• Full and appropriate bidding procedure shall only be applied to Companies/Contractors that have been pre-qualified and found capable of executing the programs/projects.
• All registration requirements as outlined above should be submitted as outlined. Omission of any item may lead to outright disqualification.
