Pre-Qualification To Tender for Execution of 2011 TETFUND Special Intervention Project (Batch 3), Abia State

The Abia State Polytechnic Aba has obtained approval in principle from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) for the execution of her 2011 TETFUND Special Intervention Project (Batch 3).

Pre-Qualification To Tender for Execution of 2011 TETFUND Special Intervention Project (Batch 3)    

Consequently, the Polytechnic hereby invites competent procurement firms to apply for pre-qualification as an initial step in the procurement process for the electrical equipment listed below:

• Lot No. 01

Equipment Description: 2 No. Transmission Line Simulator -1 1 932

• Lot No. 02

Equipment Description: 1 No. Three Phase Transformer Trainer

• Lot No. 03

Equipment Description: 1 No. Single Phase Transformer Trainer

• Lot No. 04

Equipment Description: 1 No. EM3360 3A ac Induction Motor Winding Trainer

• Lot No. 5

Equipment Description: 1 No. I /2HP Universal Motor

• Lot No. 6

Equipment Description: 1 No. DC Control 70-005

Pre-Qualification Criteria
Prequalification information will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Evidence of incorporation or Business Name Registration
• Evidence of registration with Abia State Polytechnic Aba
• Company’s current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years
• VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittance
• Evidence of financial capability and banking support backed by bank statement and audit reports
• Verifiable evidence of previous experience in procurements of similar nature, (Attach Letters of Award and Certificates of Completion)
• Evidence of business relationship with reputable manufacturers of equipment

Closing date: 6th January, 2014

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
Interested bidders are expected to obtain Pre-qualification Forms from the Office of the Bursar Abia State Polytechnic, Aba on payment of the sum of N17, 500.00 (Seventeen Thousand, Five Hundred Naira) only.
Twenty (20) copies of the filled Pre-qualification to Tender Form and supporting documents should be returned to the undersigned in a sealed envelope marked "Procurement of Electrical Equipment for Abia State Polytechnic, Aba".

• Application for prequalification received after the closing date of this publication will not be considered.
• The Abia State Polytechnic does not commit itself to award this or any other contract to suppliers responding to this advert nor does it obligate itself to include the name of pre-qualifying suppliers in any tender list
• Companies participating in the pre-qualification exercise shall not be entitled to make any claim(s) whatsoever or receive any indemnity from the Abia State Polytechnic by virtue of their response to this advertisement
