In compliance with the procurement Act 2007, the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission wishes to invite interested and reputable suppliers/contractors with relevant experience and good track record to pre-qualify for the supply of the Sensitive and Non-sensitive Local Government Election Material listed below:-

Requirements

• Prospective suppliers/contractors are required to submit the following documents:
• Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), mandatory;
• Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2010, 2011 & 2012), mandatory;
• Evidence of VAT Registration with TIN No and past remittance for the last 3 years, mandatory;
• Company Audited Account for at last three years: (2010, 2011 & 2012) showing annual turnover;
• Verifiable list of similar jobs successfully executed including letters of award of contracts, cost, job completion certificates and payment; (please provide contact address of the client);
• Evidence of financial capability to execute the Project
• Company profile and Technical Qualification of key personnel with photocopies of credentials, and
• A sworn Affidavit that none of the Directors has been convicted in any Court of Law of any criminal offence;
• Evidence of Registration with Kano State Government Registration Board

Expression of Interest:
Companies that intend to pre-qualify are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee as indicated on the table above at the account section of the Commission and obtain official receipt. A photocopy of the receipt is to be attached to the pre-qualification documents.

Submission of Pre-Qualification
One copy of the Pre-qualified documents must be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked pre-qualification documents for consideration and address to:-

Please Note that:

• The sealed envelope should reach the Chairman of the Commission before the closing date.
• Late submission of bid will not be accepted.
• Bidders are required to obtain acknowledgement slip from the Permanent Secretary/Secretary of the Commission to ensure the validity of the receipt of their bid.
• All CAC, VAT and Tax Clearance may be referred to the Security agencies, Corporate Affairs Commission, Kano State Board of Internal Revenue, Federal Inland Revenue and other relevant bodies for proper/adequate verification.
• The Kano State Independent Electoral Commission reserves the right to reject submission that does not comply with the specified requirements.
• The Evaluation of the received documents shall be strictly based on the requirements as specified above;
• Only companies that have been successfully screened and found competent will be requested to submit their financial Bid(s).
