The Edo State Ministry of Housing and Urban Development hereby invites tenders from reputable Civil/Building Contractors for the following works.

Invitation to Tender for the Civil/Building Contractors

• Lot 1: Construction of Model Secondary School, Ewohimi, Edo State.
• Lot 2: Construction of New Accident and Emergency Unit and 200-Bed Ward Block at Central
• Hospital, Benin City
• Lot 3: Re-roofing of EDPA Building.
• Lot 4: Installation of 630kg Lift.
• Lot 5: Refurbishment of Land Use Charge Office.

Details of tendering documents/Scope of Works are obtainable from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, EDPA Building, Sokponba Road, Benin City.

Tendering Requirements

• Evidence of registration as a contractor in appropriate category with the State Ministry of Works
• Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
• Tax clearance of the company and 2 Directors of the company for the past 3 years
• Payment of non-refundable fee of N25, 000 (Twenty-Five Thousand Naira only) hi bank draft, payable to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for 3rd set of Lot and N 150,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only)
• Evidence of similar projects executed.
• Evidence of financial viability
• Evidence of VAT registration and remittances

Completed financial and Technical bid shall be submitted in sealed envelope marked appropriately and addressed to:
