Contractors who have tendered before for the above projects (Advertised July 15-26 2013) can apply again

Eligibility criteria:

Interested and competent contractors wishing to be prequalified must submit the following:

• Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;  
• Tax Clearance and VAT Certificates 2010, 2011, 2012;
• Company’s Audited Accounts for2010, 2011, 2012
• Evidence of financial capacity from a reputable bank;
• Detailed Company Profile;
• Evidence of experience of similar jobs executed in the last five years;
• Evidence of compliance with Pension reform Act 2004 (as amended);
• Evidence of compliance with the amended industrial training Fund Act, 2011
• A Sworn affidavit that no Board member of the University of Port Harcourt has vested interest in the company;
• A Sworn affidavit that none of the Directors has been convicted in any country of any criminal offence:

 Collection of Pre-Qualification Form

The pre-qualification forms should be collected in the office of the Director, Department of Physical Planning & Development, Senate Building, and Permanent Site.

Submission of the Prequalification Documents

Documents must be in sealed envelopes, labeled pre-qualification for (appropriate project)”or “Expression of Interest fort appropriate project)” at the top left hand corner and addressed-band delivered to:

• The bids will be opened on the same day of closing date at 12.00 noon, in the Senate Chambers of the University Senate Building, in the presence of all bidders, financing/ regulatory bodies, Professional bodies and Non Governmental Agencies.
