Reference to our earlier advert on the above subject matter in the Federal Tenders Journal of Monday January 21- Sunday February 9,2014; Daily Trust and The Nation Newspapers of Wednesday 22nd January 2014, the management of Ahmadu Bello University wishes to notify interested consulting firms that item (I) of the prequalification criteria which is Registration with Ahmadu Bello University as consultant is hereby expunged.

Expression of Interest for the Provision of Consultancy Services for Needs Assessment/TETFund/capital projects

In view of the above, the management is inviting interested consulting firms to express their interest by submitting documents as stated in (a) to (j) below:

  • Architecture
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

Requirements:

  • Evidence of Incorporation/Registration with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  • Company Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2011-2013)
  • Company Audited Account for the last three years (2011-2013) certified by a chartered accountant/auditor.
  • VAT registration and evidence of remittances in the last three years (2011-2013) to be attached.
  • Evidence of registration of firm with ARCON, QSRBN, COREN etc
  • List of similar, verifiable and successfully executed services on completed projects or ongoing by the firms with evidence in the last three years 2011-2013 only;
  • List of Managerial, key Technical and Administrative Staff of the firm which should include names, curriculum vitae and copies of certificates (Academic and Professional) for each key staff;
  • Evidence of remittance of pension contribution fund for staff of the company from reputable pension funds Administrators (PFA) as provided in section 16, subsection 6(d) of the Public Procurement Act 2007 for year2013.
  • Evidence of compliance with the provisions of the industrial training fund amendment act as stipulated in section 6(1)-(3) for year 2013;
  • Evidence of community social responsibility (if any)
  • Original documents should be available for sighting on demand during or after the opening of documents

Submission of Documents
Documents bounded in wax-sealed envelope with the relevant field the firm is interested in clearly written at the top right hand corner and addressed to:

And should be hand delivered into the box provided in the Registrar’s office, 7th floor Senate Building.

Closing date: 19th March, 2014
Time: 12:00noon

Opening of Documents
Submitted documents will be opened on Wednesday, 19th March, 2014 at 1:30pm at the ABU Samaru Zaria Assembly Hall near the Convocation Square. All interested consultants and the general public are hereby invited.
