The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in pursuance of its statutory role invites reputable Companies to indicate interest to prequalify for the following projects.

Invitation for Pre-Qualification for the Execution of 2014 Capital and Recurrent Projects

The Projects are as follows:

• Category 1

Items: Printing and supply of Electoral Materials: Forms, Envelopes, Posters, Stickers and Laminated identity Card with Lanyards.
Remarks: These items will be supplied to each of the 36 State; FCT Offices and INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja LOT 1 -38.

• Category 2

Items: Supply of Electoral Stationery and Equipment: Biros, Markers, Twine, Liquid Gum, Calculators, Rechargeable Lamps, Printing Paper& cards.
Remarks: These items will be supplied to each of the 36 State; FCT Offices; and INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja. LOT 1 - 38.

• Category 3

Items: Supply of indelible Marker Pens
Remarks: This item will be supplied to each of the Commission’s six (6) Zonal Stores (Sokoto, Gombe, Minna, Owerri, Port Harcourt and Oshogbo) and INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja. LOT 1 - 7.

Items: Supply of Stamp Pads
Remarks:  This item will be supplied to each of the 36 State; FCT Offices; and INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja. LOT 1-38.

Items: Printing and supply of RAC Manual, EC 40G Series, EC 6OE Posters and RF(R) Posters
Remarks: These items will be supplied to each of the Commission’s six (6) Zonal Stores (Sokoto, Gombe, Minna, Owerri, Port Harcourt and Oshogbo) and INEC Headquarters, Maitama. Abuja LOT 1 -7

Items: Supply of Operation Kits
Remarks: These items will be supplied to each of the Commission’s six (6) Zonal Stores (Sokoto, Gombe, Minna, Owerri, Port Harcourt and Oshogbo) and INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja. LOT 1 -7

Remarks: This item will be supplied to INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja (1 Lot)

Pre-Qualification Requirements

• Prospective Contractors are required to submit the following documents:
• Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) by inclusion of Certificate of Incorporation and
• Articles of Association
• Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) consecutive years (2010, 2011 and 2012) corresponding with declared annual turnover
• Submission of PENCOM’s Certificate of Compliance
• Evidence of compliance with statutory provision of Section 6 (1) — (3) of the Industrial Training Amendment Act, 2011;
• Audited Accounts of the Company for the last three (3) years (2010, 2011 and 2012);
• Evidence of VAT Registration and past remittances
• Evidence of Financial capability and banking support
• Comprehensive Company Profile, listing key personnel stating their roles, designation, qualifications and years of experience
• Verifiable evidence of availability of appropriate equipment and technical capability
• Any other relevant information
• Telephone (GSM) numbers of Company’s representative(s);

Please note that:

• This “Notice of intent is not an invitation to bid. Full bidding procedure as contained in the bid documents shall be provided only to successful pre-qualified applicants deemed suitable by the Commission at a prescribed fee.
• The opening of the prequalification documents will be immediately after the closing date at Commission’s Conference Hall, Maitama-Abuja.
• Only successful Companies from the pre-qualification exercise will be invited for bidding.
