The Petroleum Training Institutes (PTI), Effurun, invites application from suitable qualified candidates, sponsored by Oil/Gas and Allied Companies for admission into the under-mentioned Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND) and full time Certificate Programmes for the 2014/2015 Academic Session.

Programmes Available
The following programmes are available at Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) levels:

• Petroleum Engineering Technology
• Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology
• Industrial Safety and Environmental Technology
• Petroleum and Gas Processing Engineering Technology
• Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
• Science Laboratory Technology
• Mineral Resources Engineering Technology
• Petroleum Marketing and Business Studies

Other Programmes Available are:

• General Welding Certificate
• Commercial Diving Certificate (class I and II)

Entry Requirements
Candidates are to posses’ five (5) Ordinary Level Credit passes relevant to the choice of programme which must include English Language and Mathematics. For detail see online admission prospectus for 201 4/2015 Academic Sessions.

Procedure for Online Application
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of six thousand, eight hundred naira (N6, 800.00) only, for PTI admission form for 2014/2015 Academic Session in any Zenith Bank branch nationwide; and collect the confirmation bank pin equivalent to the amount paid for the application form from the bank. Log on to www.pti.edu.ng to proceed with your application. Candidates are to scan and upload recent coloured passport size photograph in JPEG format (not more than 15kb in size).

• Click on “Available Programmes” or Download Prospectus to obtain all relevant information on Programmes and eligibility.
• Click on “Apply for Admission” online application process using your PIN.

You can continue with your application after your first login by clicking on Return to my Application, enter your username and password to login. Remember to print your completed application form and exam card which will be presented at the exam centre along with your bank PIN printout.

Sponsorship
Successful candidates shall be required to submit a copy of their sponsorship letter from their companies.

Date for Entrance Examination for National Diploma (ND) and General Welding Certificate Programmes:
The entrance examination for National Diploma (ND) and General Welding Certificate programmes will be held on Saturday, 21st June, 2014.

Date for Higher National Diploma (HND) Interview
The interview for HND candidates will be held from June 2nd-6th, 2014, at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun Delta State.

Diving Certificate Interview
Diving Certificate interview will be held from August 11th-15th, 2014, at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun Delta State.

Closing date: 30th April, 2014
