Invitation To Bid
1. Further to Oyo State Government efforts at checkmating flood incidence in the State, the Ministry of Environment and Habitat intends to dredge flood-prone sections of some Streams/Rivers that traverse Ibadan Metropolitan areas.

2. Consequently, bids are hereby invited from eligible Civil Engineering Contractors to carry out the proposed dredging of the Rivers/Streams’ channels at the identified Sections.

3. The scope of works shall include
(i) excavation from the channels, sand/silt deposits and carting away to approved disposal sites;
(ii) removal of trees/bamboos and other obstructing matters from channels’ right-of-way and dispose of at approved sites;

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of;

5. Bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira Only (N20,000.00) to the above address.

6. Completed bid documents are to be accompanied by the following documents;
(i) evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
(ii) copies of Personal income Tax Clearance Certificate of at least two Directors covering the past three years duly issued by the Oyo State Hoard of Internal Revenue;
(iii) copies of Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate and evidence of past remittances;
(iv) Company Profile including List and Resume of Management and Key Professional Staff and photocopies of their Key Academic Qualification Certificates and evidence of registration with relevant Professional Bodies;
(v) Verifiable documentary evidence of similar projects successfully executed in the past. (Submission of the following documents will be advantageous i.e. copies of letter of Contract awards and Certificate of Completion.
(vi) List of relevant Plants and Equipment owned/leased by the Company with information on their location address and year of manufacture;
(vii) Company’s 3 year Audited Accounts or Statement of Affairs;
(viii) Evidence al Registration with the Oyo stale Ministry of Works and transport;
(ix) Evidence of Registration with Oyo State Ministry of Environment and Habitat as an Environment Management Contractor;
(x) Evidence of Registration of Business Premises with the Ministry of Trade, investment and
Cooperatives;
(xi) Evidence of payment of bidding fee.

7. Interested eligible bidders are to submit the completed Bid Documents not later than 16.00hours on Thursday, the 20th Day of September, 2012 to
