The Kano State Government in collaboration with Dawakin Kudu, Dawakin Tofa, Dambatta, Madobi, Kiru and Tudun Wade Local Government Areas is desirous of executing MDGs Projects in various locations in the six selected LGAs and other General Hospitals in the Health. Education, and Water & Sanitation projects in partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Millennium Development Goals (OSSAP-MDGs), The objective of the investment is to improve service delivery in Health, Education, and Water & Sanitation in the LGAs, as part of the progress towards achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.

Scope Works

• Building Construction/Renovation
• Supply of desks and seats to Schools
• Supply of drugs to Health Centres;
• Supply of Medical Equipment to Health Centres;
• Supply of chalkboards to Schools;
• Construction of Hand Pump Boreholes;
• Competent and interested Bidders are invited to submit Technical Bid for the individual procurement listed above.

Pre-Qualification Requirements

• Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission;
• Evidence of Registration as a contractor/consultant with Kano State Government;
• Detailed Company Profile;
• Relevant experience (client, nature of jobs, status of the project, location and cost of the project);
• Financial capacity ( annual accounts from the last three years. or bank statement of company accounts, or letter from a reputable Bank stating clearly amount for which the company will have access to as loan, etc to pre-finance the project);
• List of veritable construction equipment relevant for the category or subcategory that the contractor signifies interest;
• Tax registration and payments of same;
• Full Address of Company and contact phone number.

Submission of Documents
Technical bid (hard copy) shall be submitted in sealed envelope, marked with the State of interest bided for at the top right hand corner and the Company’s name indicated in the back of the envelope and address to:

Opening of Bids
All applications will be opened on Monday 25’ March, 2014 at the Conference Hall Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on MUGs/Donors Agencies at 12noon in the presence of all Bidders who wish to witness it, representatives of relevant Professional bodies and representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations in Transparency and Anti-corruption.

• Only Bidders who’s Technical Bid fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements will be invited to lender for the works;
• The State Implementation Committee on MDGs-CGS reserves the right to reject any or all pre-qualification documents:
