The National inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) wishes to notify the General Public that in view of its earlier advertisements in This-day and Daily Trust Newspapers of 25th September, 2013 respectively in which the Authority requested for Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested Consultants, the EOI proposals so received have undergone an evaluation process thus, the following successful Consultants are hereby short-listed.

Terms of Reference
The Terms of Reference for this Consultancy is substantially the provision as contained in NIWA Act and Tariff; and new frontiers of Revenue Sources as may be advised by the Consultant.

Collection of Proposal Documents
The shortlisted Consultants are requested to collect Technical and Financial Proposals from the Procurement Unit of NIWA Headquarters Lokoja from 8:00am to 5:00pm on working days upon the payment of a non refundable fee of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira, only) made through a bank draft in favour of “National Inland Waterways Authority”

Submission of Proposal Documents
Completed Technical proposal including a CD-ROM should be written in English Language, Signed, Sealed and marked “Confidential” with the title Technical Proposal for as well as the Route Applied for clearly written on the top left corner of each envelope and Addressed to:

Opening of Tender Documents
All submitted Technical proposals shall be opened on 2nd April, 2014 in the presence of the Consultants or their representatives by 1.00pm at the Conference Hall of NIWA (Headquarters), Lokoja, Kogi State. Only Consultants who are successful in the Technical evaluation exercise would be invited to submit their financial bid.

Please note:

• The Technical proposals are to be submitted on or before the closing date of this publication into a specially made box marked “Tender Box” at Block D at NIWA Headquarters, Lokoja.
• This advertisement shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of NIWA nor shall it entitle the bidding Consultants to any claim whatsoever and/or seek indemnity from NIWA by virtue of such Consultant having responded to the advert.
• Submissions made by e-mail will be rejected
• Incomplete documents and/or late submissions of proposals will not be entertained
• Submissions should be in both hard and soft copies.
