The Borno State Ministry of Housing and Rural Electrification, invite tenders from suitably qualified Building Contractors, with track record of performance in similar works for the Construction of 40 units of six bed-room Duplexes at the Legacy Garden Housing Estate Phase II Maiduguri.

Eligibilty

• Interested tenderers are to provide:
• Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including up to date returns.
• Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three years.
• Evidence of Registration with Borno State Government as a Contractor in Category “F’
• Verifiable evidence of previous experience in handling similar projects including letters of Award and Certificate of successful completion.
• Financial capability including audited account for the last 3 years.

Tender Instructions
Interested Contractors should collect bid document from the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Rural Electrification, Borno State upon payment of non- refundable Tender fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50, 000.00) only and Ministerial Administrative fee of ten Thousand Naira (N10000) only per lot from the date of this publication.

Submission of Bid Documents
The completed Tender documents enclosed in sealed envelop marked TENDER DOCUMENT FOR. ..UNITS of 3-BED ROOM DUPLEX marked on top right corner addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Rural Electrification.

Opening of Tenders
All submissions will be opened at 12:00 Noon prompt on Monday 24th July, 2014 in the presence of contractors or their representatives who may wish to attend and other stakeholders in the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Rural Electrification.

Please note that, any tender that does not comply with the above provisions shall be disqualified. In addition, the Borno State Government is not bound to award contract to any tender on whatever condition.
