Federal Government Girls’ College, Minjibir,  intends to carry out Construction and Procurement as part of its capital projects for the year 2014.

Scope of Work
The work comprises Procurement and Engineering works as further describe below:
Lot 1: Construction of 2 Blocks of Hostel.
Lot 2: Construction of Administration Block.
Lot 3: Construction of Multi- purpose Hall.
Lot 4: Construction of 5 Kilometre Network.
Lot 5: furnishing of 2 blocks of Classroom.
Lot 6: Provision of 250 KVA Generator.

Prequalification Requirements

• Reputable and technically competent contractors with variable record of
• Evidence of incorporation (CAC) certificate performance on similar jobs are hereby invited to apply. All
• application for pre-qualification must be in line with due process guidelines.
• Evidence of tax clearance certificate for the last three years. (At a minimum period of 2011, 2012 and 2013).
• Evidence of financial capability
• Evidence of previous job experience
• VAT Registration
• List of major items of Equipment possessed by the Company.
• List of Managerial, Technical, and Administative staff of the company.
• Audited Accounts of the company for the last three (3) years.
• Evidence of Remittance of staff pension contribution to the appropriate Custodian/administrator; and
• Evidence of remittance of a Training Contributions in compliance with ITF Act 2011
• A sworn affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of Federal Ministry of Education, Bureau of public procurement or Federal Government College, Minjibir,, is not a former or present, Director, Share holder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and confirm all that information presented in bid are true and correct in all particulars.

Tender
Consequently, Pre-qualification contractors are to tender for the job itemized above. Tender document are available for purchase at a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand naira only (10,000.00). All payments should be made into the Federal Government Girls’ College, Minjibir Account No. 6000083000 at Mainstreet Bank. Tender document to be purchase include:

• Building plan and structure design
• Blank copy of bill of quantity

Evidence of payment sums be attached.

Submission of Completed Pre-Qualification Documents
The completed pre-qualification documents must be submitted in separate and sealed envelopes with the name (s) of the project(s) for which documents are submitted, marked clearly on the envelopes.
Prequalification documents should be addressed and submitted to:

Closing Date of Receipt of Pre-Qualification Documents
Receipt of Pre-qualification shall close on Tuesday 25th August, 2014 in the College, Conference Hall, at 12:30pm.
