Invitation of Tender for the Rehabilitation of Registrars Official Residence at Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITI), Zaria

The Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, a Federal Government Parastatal under the Supervision of Federal Ministry of Transport hereby invites suitably qualified and reputable contractors with proven competences and experience to tender for the execution of the projects listed below:

Lot A1: Completion of NITT Outreach Learning Centre in Abuja.

Lot A2: Supply and installation of 33/11kv Power Substation and Associated works.

Lot A3: Rehabilitation of 20 Room en-suite Participants’ Hostel.

Lot A4: Rehabilitation of Registrars Official Residence.

Lot A5: Rehabilitation of Senior Staff Quarters Block Al

Lot A6: Rehabilitation of Senior Staff Quarters Block A2

Lot A7: Rehabilitation of junior Staff Quarters Block B7

Lot A8: Rehabilitation of Junior Staff Quarters Block B8

Lot A9: Rehabilitation of 51 Rooms (En-Suite) Participants’ Hostel

Lot A10: Rehabilitation of Consultancy Department Office

Bid Requirement
The Tenders shall be in two (2) parts: TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BID

Technical Bid
Contractors interested in tendering/executing any of the Lots listed above are requested to apply by forwarding the following information/documents:

Mandatory Requirement

• Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
• Tax Clearance Certificate for the preceding three (3) years (2011, 2012 and 2013)
• Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance
• Evidence of Registration with National Pension Commission and up to date Remittance of employee contributory Pension Funds to Pension Fund Managers

• Evidence of Compliance with the Industrial Training Fund Amendment Act 2011

Other Necessary Requirement

• Comprehensive Company Profile
• List of verifiable documentary evidences of similar job that had been successful executed within the last three (3) years
• Evidence of last three (3) successive years Audited Account by Chartered Accounting firm. (2011, 2012 and 2013)
• Financial Capacity Profile of the Company and Banking Support
• Information on Company’s registered address, functional contact, E-mail and GSM Phone Number(s).

Commercial/Financial Bid
This involves the presentation of priced bill to confirm competitiveness.

Collection of Tender Documents
A complete set of tender documents may be purchased by interested bidders after payment of a non-refundable tender processing fee of Ten Thousand Naira (10,000.00) in bank draft in favour of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NIIT). The tender documents, would be collected from the Procurement Unit of the Institute upon presentation of Institutes Bursary Receipt, Evidencing above payment.

Closing Date:
25th August 2014

Submission
The technical and Financial bid documents should each be sealed and labeled “Technical” and “Financial’ Bids separately as appropriate, and the two envelopes put in another envelope that should also be sealed and labeled at the top right hand corner accordingly indicating project Name/Lot Number; and addressed to the Director General/Chief Executive, Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Basawa Road, Zaria. The document should be deposited in the Tender Box placed in the DG/CE’S Office.
Bids shall be opened immediately at 12.noon on 25th August, 2014 in the Director General / Chief Executives Conference Room in the presence of the bidders and interested members of the public.

Note
No bid shall be considered complete unless both Technical and Financial Bids are submitted.
Full bidding procedure shall only be applied to contractors that have been found capable of executing the project. Nothing in this advert shall be construed to be a commitment by NITT to award above contracts.
