2nd Addendum to Advertisement on Invitation for Pre-Qualification at the Federal University of Technology, Akure

The attention of the general public is hereby drawn to the advertisement placed in the Federal Tenders Journal, the Guardian and Punch Newspapers of Monday June 16th 2014 and the addendum in the Punch and Guardian Newspapers of Friday July 11, 2014 by the Federal University of Technology, Akure on Pre-qualification for new projects.

Prospective Contractors/Bidders are hereby further informed as follows:

In view of the Public holiday of 28th and 29th July 2014 and the POST-UTME screening already scheduled from 30th July-1 August 2014, the Opening of Pre-qualification Documents earlier scheduled to hold on Monday 28th July 2014 has been extended to close at 12.00 noon on Monday, 4th August 2014. The pre-qualification documents will be opened immediately after closing at 12noon in the Professor T.I. Francis Auditorium.

The advertised Pre-qualification exercise for the listed projects in the advertisement referenced above is hereby cancelled except the following under listed LOTS.

2013 Needs Assessment/Tetfund Projects Phase 1

Lot No Projects

Lot 1: Construction of Undergraduate Male Hostel (200 rooms) NA/UMH

Lot 2: Construction of Undergraduate Female Hostel (200 rooms) NA/UFH.

Lot 3: Construction of Postgraduate Hostel (200 rooms) NA/CPH.

Lot 4: Construction of School of Engineering and Engineering Technology Building (SEET Phase III) NA/SEET3.

Lot 5: Construction of School of Environmental Technology Building (SET phase III NA/SET3.

2013 Needs Assessment Projects Phase II

Bidders who have expressed interest in LOTS other than the projects listed in 2 (A&B) above are advised to retrieve their documents and request for refund of their Pre-qualification fees by applying to the University Bursary attaching the original receipt issued for the respective projects. The affected Bidders can retrieve their submitted pre-qualification documents from the office of the Registrar, on Monday, 4th August, 2014 from 900am.

All interested Bidders or their recognized representatives and the general Public are invited to attend the opening of the prequalification documents of the above listed projects on Monday 4th August 2014 by 12.00noon.

The advertisement for Invitation to Tender for other projects stepped down will be placed at a later date.
