The Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria is an Agency being supervised by the Federal Ministry of Transport. The body is charged with the responsibility to regulate and control the practice as well as to organize and structure the activities of persons, organizations and associations operating the Freight Forwarding business in Nigeria.

The Council wishes to bring to the notice of interested, competent and reputable consultants/contractors that it would carry out procurement of the underlisted works and services in its office located at Freight Forwarders House, 51 Khartoum Street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.

Details of Works/Services


LOT 1:
Purchase of Security Equipment for the Enforcement Officers.

LOT 2:
Staff Training/Human Capital Development.

Qualification Requirements

Interested Companies are expected to possess the following basic requirements.
  1. Evidence of Company’s Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
  2. Company’s Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the Last 3 Years;
  3. Evidence of VAT Registration and Past Remittances;
  4. Evidence of Compliance with Pension Act 2004
  5. Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Contribution;
  6. Company’s Profile reflecting experience and works of similar Nature and Value;
  7. Curriculum Vitae (CV) including relevant experience of key Personnel;
  8. Evidence of Financial Capability and support from Bank,
  9. Company’s Audited Account for the last (3) years.
Collection of Tender Documents
Qualified, interested and eligible consultants are to collect tender/bid document for only one lot at Freight Forwarders House, 51 Khartoum Street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja upon presentation of evidence (original receipts) for the payment of non-refundable tender fee of N20, 000.00 to the Council’s Account, which details are given below or a Bank Draft in favour of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria.

Submission of Tender Documents

The Completed Technical Financial Documents must be submitted in three (3) copies each, including one original and two (2) copies in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked “Technical Bid and Financial Bid” with both sealed in a hard envelope marked with the Appropriate Project Title, and the Company Name at the top right hand corner, addressed and delivered to the address not later than 12 noon on Friday August 28th, 2014.

Opening of Tenders

The Technical and Financial Bids will be publicly opened at the Freight Forwarders’ House immediately after the close of bids submission at 2:00pm on 28th August, 2014.
Contractors or their representatives, interested members of the public and relevant Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) are invited to witness the opening of the bids.
