Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors/Bidders at Federal College of Agriculture Moor Plantation

It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, is planning to execute her Capital projects for 2014.

As a first step to subsequent engagement of contractors in handling the projects, interested and reputable contractors, with cognate experience are therefore invited to apply for prequalification.

Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors/Bidders at Federal College of Agriculture Moor Plantation, 

Project Title

1. Expansion/Rehabilitation and equipping of classroom and staff offices
2. Expansion/rehabilitation of students’ hostel (Main and Bora Campuses)
3. Development of E-Library
4. Development of Alternative Energy (Solar) to power the College facilities
5. Construction and equipping of lecture theatre
6. Rehabilitation and equipping of Agricultural Engineering and Crop
7. Processing workshop and laboratories
8. Development of demonstration/outreach farm and College livestock fishery and crop farm

Pre-Qualification Criteria

1. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission and Federal Ministry of Works.
2. Evidence of similar jobs earlier executed (attach letters of award and job completion certificates).
3. Indicate technical and administrative staff strength with academic/professional qualifications and experience of key personnel.
4. Indicate list of equipment and their conditions.
5. Indicate current financial status of your Company, including reference from your bank attesting to your financial capability.
6. Include Tax Clearance Certificates for the immediate past three years.
7. Indicate registered premises of your Company.
8. Indicate Annual turnover and VAT registration with evidence of past VAT remittances.

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
Pre-qualification documents should be enclosed in sealed envelopes and clearly marked at the left hand corner “Pre-Quaufication to Tender”. All documents should be submitted latest by 12.00 noon on the last day. All submissions should be addressed to:

Points to Note

• This is not an invitation to tender. Full tendering will be applied to only tenders that have been pre-qualified and found capable of executing the project.
• Late submission of pre-qualification documents will not be entertained.
• By this notice, the College is not committed in any way, to award any form of contract to any respondents, neither shall any organization, submitting documents be entitled to claim any indemnity from the College.
