The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria is an approved Aviation Training Institution located in Zaria, Kaduna State. The College has a cafeteria where it serves meals to students daily. The College therefore wishes to engage the services of an independent caterer with specific expertise, proven track record and experience in running a cafeteria. The College hereby requests for Expression of Interest from suitably qualified caterers /catering companies for the assignment.

Request for the Expression of Interest for the Provision of Catering Services at Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria

Scope of Work/Services
The scope of Works/Services includes the following services:

1. Procurement of foodstuffs and Cooking Gas and preparation of quality meals.
2. Maintenance of kitchen equipment and furniture and fittings.
3. Serving of three (3) meals per day (Break- fast, Lunch and Dinner) with Water plus snacks.
4. Other catering services as may be required from time to time.

Eligibility/Requirement:
Interested Caterers/Catering firms are expected to submit their Expression of Interest (EOl) showing capability to undertake the assignment. The EOI is to contain the following:

1. Evidence of registration or incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
2. Detailed company profile including details of its directors and management, total staff strength, competences, expertise and experience of key personnel. Attach copies of certificates.
3. Evidence of Tax remittance for the past three (3) years (2011-2013);
4. Evidence of VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittance for the past three (3) years (2011-2013);
5. Annual Turnover and Audited statement of Accounts of the company for the past three (3) years (2011-2013);
6. Verifiable Evidences of Provision of Catering Services within the last five (5) years, (2009-2013) in similar institution/organization, or restaurants. Attach copies of letters of offer.
7. Reference from a reputable bank stating the financial ability to carry out such services.
8. Evidence of registration with PENCOM and evidence of remittance of pension contribution, of employees to PENCOM;
9. A sworn affidavit affirming that none of the Directors have been convicted in any country for criminal offences, including fraud and financial impropriety;
10. Evidence of access to equipment and resources required to be deployed for the services. Please provide list of catering equipment available.
11. Evidence of registration with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC)

Duration of the Catering Service
The catering service is for a period of two (2) years.

Submission of Documents
The Expression of Interest documents should be duly signed by the company’s Managing Director. This should be bound in two (2) copies, one “original” and a “copy” to be submitted in a sealed envelope and boldly marked “Request for Expression of Interest for the Provision of Catering Services” at the left hand corner of the envelope, clearly indicating the name of the company, mailing address and GSM number.
Interested Caterers may request further iflformation from the address below during office hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm Mondays to Fridays except during public holidays.
The Expression of Interest documents must reach the undersigned by 2pm on the closing date at the address shown below;
