This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in dg Market of 26th November, 2010

The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project. Ondo State is a beneficiary of the credit, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the credit towards payments under the Contract for Procurement of Office Furniture and Office Equipment for Ondo State Public Service Training Institute.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and are open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Office, Ondo State Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project. State Project Coordinating Unit (SPCU),Ala Quarters, Akure, Ondo State and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9.00am- 4.00pm local time on week days (except Public Holidays).

Qualifications requirements include technical, financial, legal requirements as indicated in the Bidding Documents. A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the Project Coordinator, Ondo State Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project, State Project Coordinating Unit (SPCU),AIa Quarters, Akure, Ondo State, and upon payment of a non refundable fee N10,000, The method of payment will be by Bank Draft. The Bidding Documents will be delivered by hand to the Bidder, its Representative or by courier on request.
The courier fee will however be fully borne by the Bidder.

Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 2% of Bid Price.

A Pre-bid opening conference will hold on Tuesday, 19th August 2014 at the Project Office as indicated below by 10.00am prompt
