Invitation to Bid In the Procurement and Installation of A 500KV A/33/0/415KV Transformer at the Ministry of Special Duties

Pursuant to the commitment of the Present Administration to the wellbetng of her citizenry through transformation of every facet of the States infrastructure and basic amenities, the Ministry of Special Duties, on behalf of the Oyo State Government is inviting reputable Electrical Contractors to submit bids in the procurementand installation of One (1) 500KV A, 33/0/41 5KV for Quarter No.370 situated along the Government House, Secretariat Road, Ibadan.

Contract Description
Procurement, deIiver, and installation of One (1) 500KV A, 33/0/4 lSKVElectricity
Transformer at the specified location.

Condition for Bidding
All eligible Electrical Contractors may apply on the following conditions:

1. Evidence of Company’s registration with the Corporate affairs Commission/Certificate of Incorporation;
2. Evidence of payment of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) Tender Fee;
3. Evidence of registration of Business premises with the Ministry of Trade and Investment, Oyo State:
4. Tax Clearance Certificate of the Company and two (2) Directors of the Company for the last three consecutive years;
5. Company’s profile contalning information on:

• Traceable residential and contact address
• KeyStaff Nominal List
• Operational Bank Account Number
• Documentary evidences of similar lobs successfully executed in the past three years; and
• Availability of equipment and implements to execute the project.

Note: Violation of any of the above conditions is tantamount to automatic disqualification ofthe bid.

Bid Submision
All valid tenders should be submitted in I 2’x 16’ sealed envelope addressed to the Director, Cabinet, Office ‘of the Governor, Secretariat, Ibadan on or before 12.noon (local time) on the closing date with the title TRANSFORMER boldly written on the right hand side of the envelope. The Government is not bound whatsoever to award the contract to the lowest or the highest bidder.

Bid Opening
All submitted bids shall be opened publicly on the Friday 22nd August, 2014 at exactly 12.noon at the Office of the Director, Cabinet, Governor’s Office, Secretariat, lbadan,
