National Power Training Institute (NAPTIN) RE-Invitation to Tender/ Extension of Closing and Bid Opening Date

With reference to our Publication with the caption INVITATION TO TENDER on page 2 of Federal Tenders Journal (September 3 - 16 edition) and pages 21 and 36C of the Leadership and Thisday Newspaper editions of the 23rd of August 2012, respectively, the Management of National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN), under the Ministry of Power, hereby inform the General Public and prospective bidders that the closing date for the purchase of bids, submission and bid closing has been extended to Wednesday the 19th of September, 2012.

1.) Bids Opening/Venue
The technical bid shall be publicly opened by 12.00 noon on the 19th of September, 2012.
Tenderers or their representatives and interested members of the public are invited to witness the bids opening in Classroom 3, Corporate Headquarters, National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN), Plot 1124, Eldoret Close, off Amino Kano crescent, Wuse II, Abuja.

2.) Compliance with Legal Requirements.
Bidders are enjoined to ensure compliance with all existing legal requirements for doing business in Nigeria, in particular evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amended Act 2011.
The scope of works as specified in the above referred publication under Lots 1 - 10 remain unchanged.
