Invitation to Bid for the Procurement of Works, Goods and Services at Federal Science and Technical College

The Federal Science and Technical Coflege, Ahoada, Rivers State in line with the Federal Government of Nigeria directives on implementation of approved 2014 appropriation, accordinqly the College invites experienced and eligible contractors and suppliers to tender for the procurement of works, goods and services.

Invitation to Bid for the Procurement of Works, Goods and Services 

The description and the summary of scope of procurement are as follows:-

Works
Lot, Description/Scope, Location
Lot. 1A: Completion of 1 No. Girls Hostel: FSTC, Ahoada
Lot. 2A: Construction of 1 No. Storey Building of 12 classrooms: FSTC, Ahoada
Lot. 3A: Construction of 5km interlocking pavement walk Ways: FSTC, Ahoada

Goods
Description/Scope Lot Location
Lot. 1B: Procurement of Bus (50 seater) (Toyota or equivalent): FSTC, Ahoada
Lot. 2B: Procurement of computer skill equipment and capacity building of 5 teachers: FSTC, Ahoada

Tender Requirements
Interested bidders/companies must be Nigerian companies, must submit bid documents accompanied with the following:

1. Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and forms C07.
2. Provide detailed Company profile.
3. Detailed evidence of compliance with pensions Act, 2004.
4. Evidence of compliance with lTF Act, 2011.
5. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last 3 years (2011, 2012 & 2013).
6. Tax clearance certificate verifiable from Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) for (2011, 2012 and 2013).
7. Evidence of VAT registration and past VAT remittances.
8. Letter of Financial Capability and Banking Support.
9. Evidence of 2-5 similar jobs previously executed or currently being executed (including letters of award, completion certificates).
10. For all building construction project, bidders must show evidence of a staff registered with COREN, etc.
11. Bidders must not bid for more than two Lots.
12. Affidavit of compliance

Collection of Tender Documents
All interested contractors shall on application collect tender documents from the Head of Procurement Office, Federal Science and Technical College, Ahoada, Rivers State, between 9am-4pm 10/9/2014-(Monday to Friday) on payment of the tender fee of N 10,000.00 only in favour of FSTC, Ahoada.

Submission of Tender
The complete tender document must be submitted in two (2) copies each, including one (1) original and one (1) copy in 2 separate sealed envelopes, where appropriate clearly marked “Technical and Financial” and both sealed in a third envelop marked with the appropriate project title and Lot number at the top right hand corner and delivered to the address below;

Closing Date and Time:
The closing date for the submission of Bids document is on or before 12 noon on Wednesday 15th October, 2014. “That is” four (4) weeks from the date of this publication.

Opening of Bids
Bids will be opened by 12 noon on 15th October 2014 at College Conference Hall, Federal Science and Technical College, Ahoada.
