Invitation to Tender for 2014 Capital Projects at the National Mathematical Centre

The National Mathematical Centre, Abuja (NMC) wishes to apply part of Its 2014 CapItal Allocation to execute the under listed Capital Project and hereby invite interested reputable Companies with good tract records of performance and experience to submit bids in accordance with their areas of interest.

Invitation to Tender for 2014 Capital Projects 

Proposed Projects
Lot 1: Procurement and Supply of Mathematical Sciences Kits. (MDC)
Lot 2: Supply and Installation of Lap-Top, Desk-Top Computers, printers and photocopiers.
Lot 3: Supply and Installation of Office Furniture.
Lot 4: Supply and Installation of Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Machine.
Lot 5: Supply and Installation of office Equipments.

Pre-Qualification Requirements

1. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2. 3 years Audited Accounts for 2011, 2012 and 2013.
3. 3 years Tax Clearance Certificate for 2011, 2012 & 2013.
4. Evidence of VAT registration.
5. Company’s Profile.
6. Certificate of compliance with Pension Reform Act, 2004.
7. Evidence of Compliance with Nigeria Industrial Training Fund (ITF) contribution.
8. All relevant information conceming physical address, Telephone, Fax, e-mail of the Company and its Representative.
9. Evidence of Financial capability (attach copy of Bank Statement for the past 12 Months),
10. Bank Reference Letter (a letter pledqing support by the Banker will be an added advantage).

Collection of Bid Documents
Bidding Documents will be collected from the Procurement Office, Room 106, First Floor, Administrative Building, National Mathematical Centre, Kaduna-Lokoja Expressway, Sheda - Kwali, Abuja, on presentation of evidence of payment of a non-refundable processing fee of N25,000.00 (Twenty- Five Thousand Naira) only, to the account stated below:

Submission of Bids
Both Technical and Financial Bids must be in separate envelopes and clearly marked appropriately and enclosed in one seated large envelope and addressed to:

National Mathematical Centre,
Kaduna-Lokoja Expressway,
Sheda-Kwali,
Abuja.

The sealed document is to be submitted to the Procurement Office, Room 106, First Floor, Administrative Building, National Mathematical Centre, Kaduna-Lokoja Expressway. Sheda - Kwali, Abuja not later than 12:00 Noon of Monday 20th October, 2014.

Bid Opening
Bid Opening shall be carried out by 12.00 Noon of Monday 20th October. 2014 at the Auditorium, National Mathematical Centre, Kaduna-Lokoja Expressway, Sheda - Kwati, Abuja. Intertisted Bidders or their representatives should attend.

Note:

• Late submission will not be entertained,
• No Bidder is allowed to bid for more than Two (2) Lots.
• The National Mathematical Centre reserves the righttorejectanydocument it considers to be doubtful authentically or not in line with any of the conditions stated above.
• This notice shall not be construed to be a commitment in the part of the Centre to award any form of contract to any respondent nor shall it entitle any organization to claim any indemnity from the Centre.
• National Mathematical Centre reserves the right to verify the authenticity of claim(s) made by the Tenderers.
• All interested Professional Bodies, accredited NGOs and Observers are hereby invited to witness the Bid opening exercise by 12 Noon of Monday 20th October, 2014 at the NMC Auditorium.
