Invitation to Tender for the Execution of 2014 Appropriation at the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development

In compliance with the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007, the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, invites interested, expressed and reputable Companies to tender for the Supply of Items/Equipment and Construction Works as approved in the 2014 Appropriation.

Project Description: Women Affairs Department, Women Empowerment Programme: Supply of: (i) Deep Freezers, (ii) Generating set (220V/240V) 2.2 KVA/ 2.7 KVA output, 230V, 50Hz.

Bidding Requirement
All interested bidders should submit the following:

1. Company Profile
2. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
3. Evidence of Tax payment or Tax Clearance for the last three (3) consecutive years (2011, 2012 and 2013)
4. Evidence of compliance with the Pension Reform Act 2004
5. Evidence of compliance with Section 6(2)of the ITF Amendment Act 2011.
6. VAT Registration Certificate including TIN Number.
7. Evidence of Financial Capability from a Reputable Commercial Bank.
8. List of relevant and verifiable equipments for construction, when applicable,
9. Three (3) Years Audited Report ( 2011, 2012 &2013) which must agree with the Tax Clearance Turnover
10. Evidence of Registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
11. Profile of key staff including evidence of valid Registration of key staff/ company where applicable with appropriate professional bodies: ARCON, COREN, CORBON. SURCON etc for all Building, Construction, where applicable.
12. Evidence of three (3) similar works with Letter of Awards. Completion Certificate or Interim Certi ficate including contact details of Clients.
13. Any other relevant information that will be of help in determining the firm’s suitability for the work.

Collection of Tender Document
Bidders are expected to collect Tender Documents from the Office of the Secretary. Ministerial Tenders Board, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development, 4th Floor Room 5A/405, Federal Secretarial Annex, Shehu Shagari Way; Abuja after payment of the non-refundable fee of N15, 000.00 onIy, in the Ministry’s Central Pay Office (CPO), from 12Noon on 8th of Sept. 2014.

Submission of Bids
Completed Technical & Financial Bids (Two (2) hard copies each and one (1) sofl copy each shall be submitted by hand in two (2) different sealed envelopes and labeled “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” respectively, with the company’s name indicated at the back of each envelope. Both envelopes’ should be sealed and placed in a third envelope with the "Project Number and Name” at the top; right hand corner and addressed to:

The Technical Bid Documents will be publicly opened in the Conference Room of the federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development at the Federal Secretariat Annex, Shehu Shagari way, Abuja at 12noon, immediately after the close of Bids submission on Monday, 20th October 2014. Only prequalified companies will subsequently be invited to witness their Financial Bid Opening.
