Invitation to Tender for the Execution of Some Projects at the Ovia South West Local Government

Tenders are hereby invited from reputable contractors currently registered with the local government for the execution of the underlisted projects on behalf of the Local Government.

Invitation to Tender for the Execution of Some Projects 

The LG. is in receipt of some funds that will be applied to payment of these projects:
Lot 1: Construction of a block of 3 Classrooms, Headmaster office, toilet and Borehole at lguiyase.
Lot 2: Construction of a block of 3 Classrooms, Headmaster office, toilet and Borehole at Obobaifo II.
Lot 3: Fencing of Primary Health Care centre at Udo.
Lot 4: Construction of Open and Lock-up Stores at Udo market.

Requirements
The tenders are to be accompanied with the following:

1. Evidence of current business registration with Ovia South West Local Government as a contractor in the appropriate category.
2. Tax clearance certificate for the immediate past three years.
3. Current bank guarantee of credit worthiness.
4. Evidence of job previously executed with the Local Government of other agencies.
5. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
6. Evidence of personal income tax clearance certificate of one of the Directors of the company.
7. Evidence of the payment of N10, 000, 00 (Ten Thousand Naira) non-refundable deposits.

Collection
Documents showing the drawing and specifications of the above-listed projects are available for inspection between the hours of 8.00am and 4:00pm in the office of the Director of Works, Land and Survey.

3rd November 2014

Submission
Tender should be addressed and submitted in a sealed envelope and marked “CONFIDENTIAL WITH THE CONTRACT CODE” at the top left hand corner of the envelope and addressed to:
The Executive Chairman,
Ovia South West Local Government Area,
Iguobazuwa, Edo State

Not Later Than 3rd November 2014.

Ovia South West Local Government is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender, nor is it bound to give reasons for rejection of any tender.
