Tenders are hereby invited for the following capital projects for 2014 at Federal Government Girls College
Calabar, Cross River State.

Invitation for Tender for the Execution of Some Capital Projects for 2014 

LOT 1: Construction of two (2) nos six classroom blocks
LOT 2: Supply of two (2) nos photocopying machines.
LOT 3: Soil and Erosion Control (Landscaping)

Tender Requirements

1. Evidence of company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
2. Pencom registration/evidence of remittance
3. Tax clearance for the last three years (2011, 2012 and 2013)
4. Evidence of VAT registration
5. Evidence of experience of similar jobs for the past three years (2011, 2012 and 2013)
6. Evidence of financial capability from a reputable Bank
7. Evidence of registration with Federal Ministry of Works/Lands, Housing and Urban development.
8. Company profile and key personnel.
9. Legal capacity to enter into contract.
10. Registration with Industrial Training Fund. (I.T.F)
11. Evidence of audited accounts for the last three years (2011, 2012 and 2013).
12. A sworn affidavit indicating whether or not any officer of Federal Government Girls’ College, Calabar or Federal Ministry of Education is a director or shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the company.
13. Maximum bidding is two per company.

Submission of Technical and Financial Bids
Bids should be enclosed in two (2) sealed envelopes marked “Technical Bid’ and “Financial Bid” and the two envelopes will be enclosed in a bigger envelope, indicating the Lot No, the name of the project, the name of the contractor at the top right hand corner of the envelope and addressed to:

Federal Government Girl’s College,
Calabar,
Cross River State.

• The Bid document should be deposited in the schools tender boxes on or by 4th November 2014.
• Opening of bid documents will commence at 1pm on 4th November, 2014.
• Interested contractors are to pay a non-refundable tender fee of twenty thousand naira (N 20,000.00) only.
