Invitation to Tender for Companies for Some Projects Proposed to be Awarded Under the 2014 Projects 

In compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act, 2007, The Federal Medical Centre Birnin Kudu wishes to notify the General Public its intention to solicit Tender from competent, reputable and experienced Companies for the under listed contracts proposed to be awarded under the 2014 project:

Lot: Description:
LOT I: Completion of General Out-Patient Department/ Accident and Emergency Phase III.
LOT II: Procurement of Intensive Care Unit and other Medical Equipments.
LOT III: Procurement of utility Vehicles.

Tender Requirement

1. Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
2. Evidence of registration with relevant bodies as the case may be
3. Evidence of technical competence
4. Evidence of compliance with industrial training funds
5. Certificate of compliance with pension act.
6. Audited account of the company for recent 3years
7. Recent 3 years tax and VAT registration
8. Letter from the company’s Bank stating its financial capability.
9. Evidence of registration with the BPP National Database

Collection of Tender Documents

• Interested companies/Suppliers are to obtained Tender documents from the office of the Secretary Hospital’s Tenders Board, FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE BIRNIN KUDU, JIGAWA STATE after payment of non refundable fee of N50, 000 (in Bank draft).
• Contract will attract bid security of 2.5% of the Bid sum (for both Lots).

7th November 2014

Submission and Opening of Bid
3 copies of both technical and Financial Bids shall be sealed in separate 15 x 9.5 envelopes, marked appropriately “TECHNICAL BID OR FINANCIAL BID” enclosed in a bigger envelope (properly sealed) addressed to The Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State and should be dropped in the Tender Box at the Medical Director’s office not later than 7th November, 2014 when the bids shall be open at the Hospital’s Conference Hall by 12:00 noon.
