For the first time in 100 years, the Hitachi group [one of top 50 global brands with over 900 subsidiaries], in partnership with Cambridge University/press now referred to as Cambridge Hitachi, under a special education intervention scheme for Africa, desires to pilot the establishment of 6 world Class International Teacher Training and Learning centres, the first of its kind in Africa.

These Centers will be established and equipped to deliver bespoke world class training for teachers and learners alike via a real time virtual platform linked to a robust faculty of experts from over 30 leading universities globally

The vision of this project is to support forward looking Governments in raising a new generation of teachers that will be adequately Skilled to integrate the best of Global practice in teaching and learning and create world class, relevant, local interactive resources that will improve the delivery of qualitative education across Our classrooms.

The Centres shall be Established in 6 states, one in each geopolitical zone of the federation, every state will be given equal opportunity to bid for these centres at the
