Invitation to Tender for the construction of lecture theatres in seIected tertiary institutions across the country 

In its efforts to continue to suport key players in the teaching/training and certification of accounting educations and enhance the earnrng environment of its students, the InstItite Governing Council has approved the construction of lecture theatres in seIected tertiary institutions across the country. Included in this intiative are the following four Institutions:

• University of Benin (UNIBEN), Benin City.
• University of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka (Enugu Campus)
• Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi and
• Northwest Univesity, Kano.

Towards achieving the above objective, the institute hereby invites reputable Construction Companies to tender for the construction of  LECTURE THEATES in the four tertiary institution listed above following the guideline below:

Requirements
Interested Building Contractors who must be from the localities of the tertiary institutions identified above should submit the following:

1. Three years audited accounts
2. Copy of Tax clearance certificate
3. Letter of Financial Health from their Bankers.
4. List of completed project in the last five years with addresses of the properties and their clients and owners.
5. A non-refundable draft/cheque of N50, 000.00 (Fifty thousand Naira) only payable to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

The listed documents in Paragragh 2 above should be submitted to:

• Tender documents can be collected at the same address.
• Tenders are to b submitted in SEALED envelopes and titled ‘ICAN LECTURE THEATRE PROJECT’ to the above address on or before October 07th 2014
• Tenderers are required to be present for the opening of the tenders at a date and time to be communicated to them.
