Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to strengthening integrated health systems in the developing world and expanding access to care and treatment for HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. Expression of Interest / Request for Quatation for the Supply of Motorbike Ambulance for MNH MDG FAST TRACK PROJECT in Kano, Kaduna and Katsina State, Nigeria
Over the next eighteen months, the Government of Nigeria and Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) will be collaborating to consolidate all existing Maternal and neonatal (MNH) efforts by implementing a comprehensive MNH program aiming to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes. The three main objectives of this program are:
Strengthen national coordination of MNH activities;
Strengthen state coordination on MNH activities across all states, with a focus on six high-burden states; and
Implement a comprehensive maternal and neonatal health strategy in three of the highest-burden Northern states of Kaduna, Kano and Katsina.
Funding has been provided by the Norwegian Government to the Nigerian people to support full implementation in focus states.
CHAI is working to identify opportunities to strengthen and expand existing emergency transport systems linking the communities to public health facilities. As part of the process for strengthening referral system and access to emergency care in focal states, CHAI plans to procure Motorbike Ambulance for delivery in 10 Local Government Areas of Kano, Kaduna and Katsina State of Nigeria.

Submission of quotation should be made in two hard copies with all requested documents In a sealed envelope clearly labeled
“REQUEST FOR QUOTATION-MOTORBIKE AMBULANCE/2014/MNH/MDG FAST TRACK/CHAI NIGERIA” on the right hand corner of the envelope. Full address with contact name, email address and phone number should be clearly written on the bid and reverse side of the envelope.
