Invitation for Technical and Financial Bids for the Execution of Year 2013 Tetfund Special Intervention Project at the Kaduna State College of Education

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has allocated funds to the Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya for execution of Year 2013 special Intervention Project as follows:
Supply of INr 2013 Toyota Hiace 18-Seater Bus

Invitation for Technical and Financial Bids for the Execution of Year 2013 Tetfund Special Intervention Project 

Interested and eligible suppliers are hereby invited to submit pre-qualification and tender dncuments for the procurement.

Pre-qualification requirements:
Interested and competent suppliers are required to forward their pre-qualification and tender documents which should include the following verifiable documents.

1. Certificate of incorporations Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2. Company Tax Clearance Certificates for last three years 2011, 2012 & 2013.
3. Evidence of VAT Registration and past remittances for three years (2011, 2012 & 2013).
4. Company Audited Account for the last three years (2011, 2012 & 2013).
5. Evidence of financial capability to executive the projects from reputable banks.
6. Evidence of Registration with relevant Ministry and Bureau.
7. Veritable list of similar and other protects successfully executed with their locations including letter(s) of awards and completion certificates.
8. Evidence compliance with PENCOM Act 2004.
9. Letter authorizing the College to make an enquiry of the documents submitted.
10. Comprehensive Company Profile Showing:

• Qualifications of management and technical staff.
• Evidence of their registration with their respective profession bodies.
• Evidence of their experiences on execution of similar jobs.

Tender Requirements:
A complete set of tender documents shall be collected by interested terderers from the Office of the Director at Works Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable fee of five thousand Naira only (N5, 000.00).

The tender documents should include the following:

• Tender (Bid) validity period.
• Tender (Bid) secority

Closing Date:
20th October 2014

Submission of Documents:
The pre-qualification and completed tender documents must be submitted in three (3) copes each including one (1) original and two (2) photocopies or two separate sealed envelopes clearly marked ‘Technical and ‘financial’ and both sealed in third enveloped marked with the project title at the top right hand conner and submitted to the address below not later than 12.00 Noon of the day after expiration of 20th October 2014. Late submission would not be entertained

Opening of Tender:
Pre-qualification (Technical Bids) would be publicity opened at 12:00 Noon on the same date at the College, Boardroom, Gidan waya after the close of submission date and time. Only pre-qualified bidders would be invited to the Opening of the tender documents (Financial Bids) pre-Qualified bidders and/or their representatives, relevant professional, bodies. TETFund representative, NGO(s) and the general public are invited to witness the exercise.

• The College reserves the right to reject any or all submissions that do not meet with requirements as specified in Section 2 (1-10) above. The evaluation of the submitted documents shall be strictly based on the requirements as specified above.
• The College would not enter into any correspondence with any unqualified/disqualified, company.
• Lowest tender does not necessarily compel the College to award the contract to the company.
• The advertisement shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of the College nor shall it entail any company make any claims) whatsoever and or to seek any indemnty from the college by virtue of such company having responded to the advertisement.
