Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors and Tender Opening of Year 2013 Tertiary Education Trust Fund Special Intervention at Yobe State University

The Yobe State University, Damaturu, plans to procure chemistry, biochemistry and Pharmaceutical research equipment under the year 2013 TETFUND Special Intervention.

Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors and Tender Opening of Year 2013 Tertiary Education Trust Fund Special Intervention 

Project 1: Procurement of Chemistry Research Equipment
Project 2: Procurement of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Research Equipment.

Interested and competent contractors with vast experience in the supply of Science research and learning equipment are requested to submit pre-qualification document arranged in the following order for consideration:

1. Evidence of Registration and Incorporation of Company by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
2. Company’s Income Tax Certificate for the last three (3) years (CTC);
3. Evidence of Registration with the University in the relevant category;
4. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last two (2) years (CAA);
5. List of key staff with evidence of proficiency and experience (where applicable);
6. Evidence of Financial Capacity and Banking Support;
7. Verifiable list of similar works successfully completed in the last two (2) years with names of clients, evidence of award and completion;
8. Equipment and technological Capacity (where applicable);
9. VAT Registration and evidence of VAT Remittance;
10. Evidence of Community and Social Responsibility (CSR); and
11. Payment of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20, 000.00) pre-qualification materials processing fee.

20th October 2014

Submission
Two copies of the pre-qualification document should be addressed and submitted to, The Registrar, Yobe State University, Damaturu, in an envelope marked ‘2013 Special Intervention Project 1’ or ‘2013 Special Intervention Project 2’ to reach him not later than 20th October 2014.

Please note that this is not an invitation to tender and only successful applicants will be invited to tender.
The University does not go into correspondence on account of unsuccessful applications.
