Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for the 2013 MDGs Conditional Grants Scheme to Six (6) Local Government Areas in Ekiti State (Emure, Gbonyin, Ido/Osi,Irepodun/Ifelodun,Ise/Orun & Moba) 

Kindly refer to our invitation for bids on the above projects in the Nation Newspaper of Friday, 16th May, 2014 and May Edition of Kayegbo Magazine and be informed that the State Government has decided to re-invite interested bidders for pre-qualification of the projects as classified under the following Lots:

Lot 1: Provision of Boreholes in Schools, Health Facilities and Communities

• Drilling of Hand Pump Boreholes
• Drilling of Motorised Boreholes
• Drilling of Solar Boreholes

Lot 2: Construction/Renovation Works in Schools and Health Facilities

• Construction/Renovation of Blocks of Classroom
• Construction of VIP Toilets
• Construction of Health Facilities (Medical Wards, Staff Quarters, Fence and Gate House etc.)

Lot 3 Procurement of Furniture and Medical Equipment

• Procurement of Ambulances & Motorcycles
• Procurement of Drugs and Medical Equipment
• Procurement of Furniture for Primary School Pupils & Teachers

Pre-Requisites for Qualification
This will involve the presentation of necessary proof of technical competence and capacity to execute such projects. The required document should include the following:

1. Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
2. Evidence of Company Profile including profile of key Technical Personnel;
3. Evidence of registration with the MDGs Office in Ekiti State;
4. Evidence of Ekiti State Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) financial years;
5. Evidence of payment for Development levy for the last three (3) financial years:
6. Evidence of registration of Business Premises in Ekiti State;
7. Evidence of registration with Ekiti State Bureau of Public Procurement;
8. Evidence of compliance with the amended Industrial Training Fund Act (2011);
9. Reference letter from a reputable Bank;
10. Evidence of previous relevant/similar experience in terms of project value, volume, complexity and management in the last five (5) years. Provision of certificate(s) of completion is an added advantage;
11. Evidence of VAT registration.

Submission of pre-qualification documents
Please note that the document should be signed and sealed in an envelope boldly marked Pre-qualification documents for 2013 MDGs CGS LGA Projects in Emure, Gbonyin, ldo/Osi, lrepodun/lfelodun, Ise/Orun & Moba and submit same to Ekiti State MDGs Office, Mutual House, Ado-Ekiti on or before 12noon on Tuesday, 18th November, 2014.

Note That:

• This advert is not an invitation to tender and should not be treated as such;
• Full bidding procedure shall only be for pre-qualified companies found capable to execute the projects;
• This advertisement is not a commitment on the part of Ekiti State MDGs Office nor shall it entitle companies to make any claim whatsoever from the said Office or the State Government;
• The State MDGs Office reserves the right to verify any claim of potential bidders;
• Contractors with good performance in previous Ekiti State MDGs projects have an added advantage.
• This advertisement supersedes our initial invitation to tender for 2013 MDGs-CGS - LGA Track earlier mentioned.
