Federal Medical centre Addendum For Submission Of Technical And Financial Bids

Reference to the Advertisement for submission of Technical and Financial bids published in the following National Newspapers:

• Federal Tenders Journal on Monday 23rd July - Sunday 5th August, 2012
• Punch Newspaper on Wednesday 18th July, 2012
• Daily Trust on Wednesday 18th July, 2012.

1.) 2012 MDG’S/Capital Projects

The projects involved are as follows:

Medical Equipment:

• Project FMC/2012/01: Procurement of Baby Incubators
• Project FMC/2012/02: Supply and Installation of Theatre Suit
• Project FMC/2012/03: Procurement, Installation and commissioning of Endoscopy Unit will all Accessories HD Monitors.

2.) Additional Requirements For Bidding:

Evidence of Payment of Training Contribution of Staff to ITF (Industrial Training Fund).

Closing Date:

The bid documents should be dropped in the Tender box in Procurement Department of the Hospital on or before 12noon. 5th September, 2012.

3.) Submission of Tender Documents

The Date for the opening of the Technical/Financial bids has been extended to 5th-6th September, 2012 and no longer 22nd-23rd August. 2012. 

4.) Closing Date:


The bid documents should be dropped in the Tender box in Procurement Department of the Hospital on or before 12noon, 5th September, 2012.

5.) Opening Of Bids:

Opening of the Technical bid documents shall commence at 1pm on the same day in the Board Room of the hospital. On the next day, 6th September, 2012 at 2.00pm, the names of qualified contractors from the Technical Bids Exercise will be announced and their financial bids will be opened. The financial bids submitted earlier by those that were not qualified will be returned to them unopened. Contractors or their representatives, NGOs and the general public are also invited to attend.
